Calibration Tiers
To support your journey from concept to production, Motion Applied offers three tailored calibration service tiers; Foundation, Advanced, and Production - aligned with the typical phases of vehicle and powertrain development:
- Foundation - Ideal for early-stage bench or dyno testing, the Foundation Calibration establishes a solid baseline. It includes initial inverter calibration against your motor parameters, configuration of essential fault limits and derates, and development of preliminary torque maps.
- Advanced - Designed for mule and prototype builds, the Advanced Calibration delivers optimized inverter performance for advanced motor control and peak efficiency. This tier includes on-dyno refinement at Motion Applied’s facilities, ensuring your system is ready for rigorous testing.
- Production - For series production readiness, the Production Calibration implements, validates and documents all powertrain- and vehicle-level safety features, calibrates FTTI fault detection, and provides comprehensive engineering capability to support your production validation phase.
